PROJECT ABSTRACT:

As the name suggests, the notepad in VB.Net application is a text editor that is intended to create some of the simple documents with great ease. The user interface must be simple and easy to understand. This will be one of the interesting applications that one can implement in real time world. The notepad application is used to create the basic documents with great ease. In order to create the simple documents, the notepad application will be very helpful. The files that are saved can also be printed through this application. The saving options can be in different forms. This application will help in creating the simple documents without any difficulty.

The disadvantages that are presented in the present application can be overcome through this application with great ease. This will be one of the applications that the final year students can take up in implement in the real time world. The files that are written can be saved in the particular folder of the user’s choice with great ease.  Simple edits can be done to the text entered through this application.

The features that can be included in the notepad application are as follows:

1.      Undo support: The changes that are done can be undone before saving it.

2.      User friendly: This application is user friendly since this application is easy to use and implement in real time world.

3.      Insert date or time: The date or time can be inserted easily into the notepad through the use of this application.

4.      Right to left reading order: This application will enable to switch the reading order from right to left.

5.      Timestamp: each time the file is opened the timestamp can be inserted into the application.

6.      Customize: The header and the footer option can be customized easily through the use of this application.
